There are three ways to produce the signature. Draw it with a mouse, trackpad or finger, which looks most like a real signature on a touchscreen. Type your name and pick from several handwriting-style fonts, which is the fastest option. Or upload a photo or scan of your existing signature, and the tool removes the white background so it sits cleanly on the page.
Once you have a signature, drag it to position, resize it to match the signature line, and place it as many times as the document needs - initials on each page and a full signature at the end is a common pattern.

Is this legally binding?
In many jurisdictions a typed or drawn electronic signature is valid for ordinary agreements, but it varies by country and document type. For anything where identity needs cryptographic proof, use the Digital Signature tool with a certificate instead.
What is the difference from a digital signature?
This places a visible image of your signature. A digital signature adds a cryptographic seal from an X.509 certificate that proves who signed and detects any later change to the file.
Does my signature get stored anywhere?
No. It exists only in your browser tab for the length of the session. Nothing is uploaded or saved on a server.
Can someone move my signature after I save?
No. It is drawn into the page content rather than left as a draggable annotation.
