Standard rotation only offers 90 degree steps, which is no help at all for the most common orientation problem: a page that went through the scanner two degrees off square. Two degrees is enough to look careless and enough to degrade OCR accuracy.
This accepts any angle, including decimals, so you can enter 1.5 or minus 3.2 and straighten the page properly. A live preview shows the result, so you can nudge the value until the text baselines look level.
For a whole batch of crooked scans, Deskew PDF detects the angle automatically. Use this tool when you want to set the angle yourself, or when automatic detection has picked the wrong reference line.

What angles can I use?

Will the corners get cut off?
Rotating a rectangle inside a fixed page can clip the corners. The page box is expanded where needed to avoid losing content.
Should I use this or Deskew PDF?
Deskew detects the angle automatically across a batch. Use this when you want to set the angle yourself, or when detection got it wrong.
Does rotating by an odd angle degrade the page?
Vector content and text rotate cleanly. Raster images are resampled, so a very large rotation can soften them slightly.
