Sobre esta ferramenta

Rasterising turns every page into a picture of itself. It sounds destructive, and it is - that is the point. Once a page is an image there is no text layer to copy, no fonts to go missing, no form fields to interact with, and no hidden or cropped-off content lurking in the file.

People reach for this in three situations: printing where a printer keeps mangling unusual fonts, distributing a document where the text should not be extractable, and preparing something to feed into a system that only accepts images.

You control the DPI, and this is the whole decision. 150 is fine on screen, 300 is right for printing, 600 for fine detail at the cost of a much larger file. Output can be a new PDF of image pages, or the images themselves as PNG, JPEG or WebP.

Como usar

  1. Add your PDFs

Drop in up to 10 files.

  2. Set the DPI

150 for screen, 300 for print, 600 for fine detail. Higher means larger.

  3. Choose the output

A PDF of rasterised pages, or PNG, JPEG or WebP image files.

  4. Convert and download

    Save the result.

Casos de uso

Fixing a stubborn print job

A printer choking on unusual embedded fonts will handle flat images without complaint.

Preventing text extraction

Distribute a document where copying the text is not straightforward.

Guaranteed identical rendering

An image cannot be re-rendered differently by a different viewer.

Perguntas frequentes

Will the text still be searchable?

No. Rasterising removes the text layer entirely. Keep your original, or run OCR afterwards if you need search back.

Does the file get bigger?

Usually, especially for text-heavy documents where vector text is far more compact than pixels. Lower the DPI or compress afterwards.

What DPI should I use?

150 for screen reading, 300 for printing, 600 only when fine detail genuinely matters.

Is this the same as flattening?

No. Flatten PDF merges form fields and annotations into the page but keeps the text. Rasterising converts everything to pixels.
