Interactive PDF forms fail in a specific, maddening way: the file opens fine in a browser but the fields are dead, so people print it, write on it by hand, and scan it back in worse condition than it started.
This tool reads the form structure properly. Text fields, checkboxes, radio groups and dropdowns all work, including XFA forms, which many government and banking documents still use and which most browser viewers refuse to render at all.
You can save your entries and come back later, which matters for the long forms nobody finishes in one sitting. When it is complete, flatten the form so the answers become part of the page and cannot be altered by whoever receives it.

Drop in the PDF. Fillable fields are detected and highlighted so you can see where input is expected.
Fill it in
Click into fields and type, tick boxes, choose from dropdowns. Tab moves you to the next field in order.
Save your progress
Keep the entered data if the form is long and you need to come back to it.
Flatten and download
Flatten to lock the answers into the page, or save with fields still live if the recipient needs to add more.

What is an XFA form and why does it matter?
XFA is an XML-based form format Adobe layered on top of PDF. Chrome and Safari show a "please open in Acrobat" message instead of the form. This tool reads the field structure directly, so those forms are usable.
Should I flatten before sending?
Usually yes. Flattening prevents the recipient from changing your answers, and guarantees the values display in readers that handle form fields badly.
Where is my saved data stored?
In your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so the data stays on the machine you filled the form on.
The form has no fields at all - now what?
It is probably a scan. Use the PDF Editor to add text boxes over the blanks, or Form Creator to add real fields.
