Sobre esta ferramenta

There is an important difference between extracting images and converting pages to images. Converting renders the whole page, including text, at whatever resolution you pick. Extracting pulls out the original embedded image files at the resolution they were stored at - which is often much higher than the page displays.

That matters when you want the photograph, not a picture of the page it sits on. A brochure page might display an image at 4 inches wide while carrying a 3,000 pixel original.

The small-image filter is the setting that makes the output usable. Without it you get every bullet glyph, rule and logo fragment on every page - hundreds of files. Filtering by minimum dimensions leaves you with the images you actually wanted.

Como usar

  1. Load your PDFs

Drop in up to 20 files. Embedded images are catalogued per page.

  2. Set the size filter

Choose minimum width and height to exclude icons, bullets and decorative fragments.

  3. Review the list

Found images are shown with their dimensions and formats.

  4. Download as a ZIP

All images are saved at their original resolution and format.

Perguntas frequentes

How is this different from PDF to JPG?

PDF to JPG renders whole pages. This extracts the original embedded image files, usually at higher resolution than the page displays.

Why did I get hundreds of tiny files?

Bullets, rules and logo fragments are all images. Raise the minimum size filter.

What formats do the images come out as?

Whatever they were stored as - usually JPEG or PNG. No re-encoding, so no quality loss.

Can it recover an image that is cropped on the page?

Often yes. PDFs frequently store the full image and display only part of it, so the extracted file can contain more than you saw.
