Acerca de esta herramienta
XPS was Microsoft answer to PDF. It never caught on, and the XPS Viewer stopped shipping with Windows by default - so people are left with files they cannot open, usually created years ago by someone choosing Microsoft XPS Document Writer instead of a printer.
Converting to PDF makes them readable again on any device. Both formats are handled: the original XPS and the later OXPS variant that newer Windows versions produce.
XPS is a vector format, like PDF, so the conversion is a genuine translation rather than a screenshot. Text stays text, vector graphics stay vectors, and the output remains searchable and sharp at any zoom.

Preguntas frecuentes
What is the difference between XPS and OXPS?
OXPS is the later, standardised version produced by Windows 8 and newer. Both convert here.
Is the text still searchable?
Yes. XPS stores real text, and it is carried across as text rather than rasterised.
Why can I not open XPS files on Windows any more?
The XPS Viewer became an optional feature and is not installed by default on recent builds.
Does the layout stay identical?
Very closely - both formats describe pages in similar vector terms, so translation is faithful.
