About This Tool
WebP is what you get when you save an image from a modern website. It is an efficient format, and it is also the format that half the applications on a desktop still refuse to open - which is why people need to convert it before they can use it.
This turns WebP files into a PDF that opens anywhere. Both variants are handled: lossy WebP, which behaves like JPEG, and lossless WebP, which behaves like PNG and can carry an alpha channel. Transparent areas are composited onto white so nothing comes out black.
Animated WebP files are converted using their first frame, since a PDF page is a still image.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are lossless WebP files handled differently?
Yes. Lossless files, including any alpha channel, are decoded and composited onto white; lossy files are treated like JPEG.
What happens to an animated WebP?
The first frame is used. A PDF page cannot hold an animation.
Does converting lose quality?
A lossy WebP re-encoded into a PDF can lose a little. Set quality to high to keep the difference invisible.
Can I mix WebP with other formats?
Not in this tool - use Image to PDF, which accepts every supported format in one pass.
