About This Tool
Merging is the most common PDF task there is, usually because a document arrived in pieces: a scanned signature page from one person, an invoice from accounting, and a cover sheet you wrote yourself.
Load the files, drag the thumbnails until the order is right, and merge. Page content is copied across untouched, so text stays selectable and image quality is unchanged - there is no re-compression step. Bookmarks from each source file are kept and nested under the document they came from.
The merge runs locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, which is the difference that matters when you are combining bank statements or HR paperwork.
How to Use
Add your files
Drop in up to 100 PDFs at once, or add them a few at a time. Files appear as cards in the order they were loaded.
Set the order
Drag the cards to rearrange. The number on each card shows where its pages will land in the finished document.
Merge and save
Click Merge. The combined file downloads with the page count shown on the button so you can sanity-check it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied at their original resolution with no re-encoding, so a merged file is usually close to the sum of its inputs in size.
What happens to bookmarks and links?
Bookmarks are preserved and grouped by source document. Internal links that pointed within a source file are remapped to the new page numbers.
Can I merge files that are password protected?
Not directly. Remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool, then merge.
How many files at once?
Up to 100. Beyond that, merge in groups and then merge the groups.
