About This Tool
Real folders are mixed. There are iPhone HEICs from one person, screenshots as PNG, scans as TIFF, and a logo someone sent as SVG. Converting each format with a different tool and then merging the results is three jobs too many.
This accepts all of them in one pass - JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF, TIFF, BMP and SVG - and writes a single PDF. Transparency in PNGs and WebP is composited onto a white page rather than turning black, and SVGs are rendered as vectors so they stay sharp at any zoom level.
Multi-page TIFFs are expanded into one PDF page per frame, which is the behaviour you want when a fax or a scanner produced a single TIFF holding twelve pages.

Which formats are supported?

What happens to transparent areas?
They are composited onto white. PDF pages have no alpha channel, so transparency has to resolve to something.
