Exporting a PDF page as an image throws away everything that made it a PDF. Exporting it as SVG keeps the vectors: paths stay paths, text stays text, and the result scales from a favicon to a billboard without a soft edge anywhere.
It is also editable. An SVG opens in Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma or Sketch as objects you can select and modify, which is what you need when a logo only exists inside a PDF and you have to recolour it or pull one element out.
Because SVG is a web format, the output drops straight into a web page as inline markup - sharp on every display density, with no separate retina asset to manage.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is the output genuinely vector?
Yes. Vector content is translated into SVG paths, not rasterised, so there is no resolution limit.
What happens to text?
It is exported as text where the font can be referenced or embedded, otherwise converted to outlines - visually identical, but no longer editable as type.
And images inside the page?
They are embedded as raster data within the SVG. A photo does not become vector just because the container is.
Can I edit the result?
Yes, in any vector editor - Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma or Sketch.
