PDF Reader
Read PDFs in your browser with page navigation, zoom, rotate, fullscreen and print. Files stay on your device - nothing is uploaded.

Über dieses Tool
Sometimes you just need to look at a file. A PDF arrives on a machine with no reader installed, or the built-in viewer renders the fonts badly, or you would rather not open an unknown document in a desktop application at all.
This viewer renders the document in the browser tab with the controls you would expect: page navigation and jump-to-page, zoom including fit-width and fit-page, rotation for pages that came in sideways, fullscreen for reading, and print and download.
The file is opened locally. Nothing is uploaded, which is the safer way to inspect a document you were not expecting - and it means the viewer works with no network connection at all.
Bedienungsanleitung
Open a PDF
Drop in the file, or click to browse. It renders immediately.
Move around the document
Scroll, use the page controls, or jump straight to a page number.
Adjust the view
Zoom in or out, fit to width or page, rotate a sideways page, or go fullscreen.
Print or save
Send it to a printer or download a copy, both directly from the viewer.
Anwendungsfälle
A machine with no PDF reader
A shared or locked-down computer can still open the document in a browser tab.
Checking an unexpected attachment
Inspect a document without opening it in a desktop application or sending it anywhere.
Reading offline
Once the page is loaded, rendering is local, so the viewer keeps working on a flight.
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is my file uploaded to view it?
No. The PDF is rendered by JavaScript in your own browser and never leaves your device.
Can I search the text?
Yes, provided the PDF has a text layer. A scanned image has none until you run OCR on it.
How large a file can it open?
Limited only by your available memory. Files in the hundreds of megabytes work, though the first render takes a moment.
Can I annotate here?
This is a viewer. For highlights, comments and text, use the PDF Editor.
